The 1,920 square-foot Wyalusing branch of P&G Mehoopany Employees Federal Credit Union is open for business at its new location and celebrating with a public grand opening on Saturday, June 18, from 9 a.m. until noon. Its Route 6 address is 234 State Street and that is just west of Second Street and next to NAPA Auto Parts. Staff has made the move from its previous location on Taylor Avenue in downtown Wyalusing.

“We’re confident the expanded level of service in the new branch will appeal to both our individual and business members, as it offers greater convenience and accommodates our members’ busy lives,” said Dave Sturdevant, Chairman of the Board of Directors of P&G Mehoopany Employees.

The building features a wrap-around parking lot, drive-thru ATM and teller station. The site plan was developed by Gery Engineering, LLC, of Wyalusing and Colwell-Naegele Associates, Inc. of Clarks Summit. The Hayseed partners feel this brings a well-planned commercial development to this previously undeveloped part of Wyalusing along Route 6. It will extend behind the Farm & Home Plaza on the far western end of the borough.

The P&G Mehoopany Employees Federal Credit Union is a $107 million federally chartered credit union headquartered in Tunkhannock, PA. They operate six branches and eight ATMs throughout Bradford, Lackawanna, Luzerne and Wyoming Counties in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
